Why should I participate in Model UN conferences?

Partaking in Model United Nations is not only an amazing opportunity to develop and enhance a range of skills such as leadership, communication, research and critical thinking, but also a way to open our eyes to global affairs and conflicts around us. Model UN helps us explore different political, social, economic or environmental problems our world faces and debate to find solutions. What are the prizes for delegates?

Certificates of Participation will be given to all the delegates! These certificates are valued by NGOs and NPOs (including UN foundation and ASEAN recognised organizations) all over the globe, helping to boost your Curriculum Vitae! Are applications for the Secretariat open?

You can apply for the Secretariat in the "Join Us" page! When they close for the second edition, you can still apply using the form for the next edition.
How do we join the Country Ambassadors Internship?

To join UMUN's Internship program, you can go to the form in the "Internships" page and fill it in. You will be added shortly and your 4 months internship will begin!

What resources do the delegates get for the conference?

Our conferences are and will be completely beginner-friendly! We provide detailed resources such as: - Beginner Guides for Model United Nations - Samples of Documentations (ex. Position Papers, Draft Resolutions etc.) - Rules of Procedure UNA-USA or International Press ROP - Full Study Guides and Committee Resources - Training Sessions Ontop of this, our team is completely active to answer any questions as well (delegateandfacultyrelationumun@gmail.com)! We provide a training session for the same as well as the Executive Board hosting a training session for the specific committees as well. If you are new to MUNs, DO NOT WORRY! Universal MUN has got you covered :) !
What methods of payment are available?

We have a range of payment methods being: In India: Google Pay, PayTM and Bank Transfer (250 INR) Internationally: PayPal and Bank Transfer ($4 USD - inclusive of all tax and conversion fees)
What Time Zone does Universal MUN follow?

Even though we are internationally based, we primarily follow the Indian Standard Time (IST) which is GMT+5:30.
